How was Ozibu Designs born?
While most of the world was working from home during the pandemic, Courtney was working as a case manager for an assertive community treatment team - a community based, extremely stressful and mentally taxing job. Courtney needed to create with her hands and craved spending time at home, undisturbed. She started playing with clay so she could wear her own statement pieces to fit her style. She fell in love and has spent the last two years growing her craft! Ozibu's namesake is Ozzmatazz Buckshanks, Courtney's handsome monster cat.
